HILTI is the world market leader in firestop product sales. Our products sold all over the world have been tested according to all accepted standards and have thousands of test reports.

Hilti has conducted extensive testing in both direct penetration and construction common firestop applications. However, due to variations in construction throughout the phases of a project, it is not possible to test all firestop applications that may be encountered. Therefore, Hilti has developed a process to create custom drawings to accommodate specific applications. Hilti's custom drawings, or Engineer's Decisions, are developed through the careful and constrained application of accepted fire protection engineering principles established by the International Fire Stopping Council (IFC). Test data from similar systems is analyzed and applied to similar applications that do not fully meet the criteria of an existing UL Listed System.
